Well, it has with two more familiar faces signing up for Ryan Murphy's version of The Normal Heart for HBO ...
Jim Parsons, better known as Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory has signed up for the production. Parsons will be playing the role of gay activist, Tommy Boatwright. This is not the first time the actor has played this role as he previously performed in the Broadway version of the adaptation back in 2011.
Elsewhere John Carter's Taylor Kitsch has also signed up for a role in the HBO production too. Kitsch will be playing the role of closeted investment banker, Bruce Niles who becomes a prominent AIDS activist. Julia Roberts role meanwhile has been confirmed as Emma Brookner, a survivor of childhood polio, a doctor who also treats AIDS sufferers with both Mark Ruffalo and Matt Bomer in the lead roles of Ned Weeks, a man who witnesses the disease firsthand and his reporter/love interest Felix Turner.

The Normal Heart will begin filming later this year and will air on HBO in 2014.
