Secret Diary Of A Call Girl - Season 4 Review

Okay and with the last episode that aired on ITV last week, I thought I might as well finish up my season reviews earlier than later, so here goes ….

Episode 1: Belle and Ben, finally a couple. They seemed so happy in this one. Shame it’s not going to last though. Still, very interesting that Stephanie’s spell in the pokey resulted in Belle playing madam and taking care of Poppy.

Episode 2: We finally meet Ben’s mother and she’s more liberated than her son is. Who’d thought? I did like the end scene between Belle and Ben but again, it does seem like this one won’t last.

Episode 3: It’s the arrival of Harry the creepy copper and his first sexual encounter with Belle is definitely one of the show’s worst. More grating is Poppy’s meltdown when she realises what Belle is and where her mother is really staying. Even Jackie’s return is preferable to that.

Episode 4: Poppy and Stephanie rowing is hardly highlight of the week and neither is Ben and Belle falling out either. The baby stuff with the client was amusing but naff and the ending with Belle heading to New York was different.

Episode 5: Belle in New York City trying to get a movie about her life done. Made for an amusing diversion but Poppy really showed her true colours when she decided to wreck havoc between Belle and Ben, didn’t she?

Episode 6: I liked Belle and dominatrix Charlotte first competing and then admiring each other’s skills with clients. Less admirable was Ben being passive aggressive and whiny and Poppy as well.

Episode 7: The death of a client during a session was certainly an interesting moment for Belle but between creepy Harry and Ben continuing to berate Belle, I was hoping for only one outcome in the end.

Episode 8: Loved the client being someone that Belle went to school with, loved that she didn’t go with either Ben or Harry but as a series finale, what a depressing way to end things. I guess Belle will just end up becoming like the released Stephanie in another decade or two.

Like the previous season, this one had some interesting moments but overall, it felt really rushed and the ending while interesting just didn’t work for me in other ways. Here’s hoping Billie Piper moves on to better things.

Don't Blow Up A Cow Man

Okay, it's been a fortnight since the last jumble but here's some of the stuff, I've been watching over the last 14 days.

Glee: It's that kind of an episode. The one where everyone drinks and it's bad, right? Except not really to be honest. Sure there's plenty of commentary on the consequences of excessive drinking and the fact that Brittany's version of Tik Tok resulted in her and Santana vomiting on stage but other than that, this episode isn't as moralising as it could've been - thankfully. Bonus points awarded to the continued friendship between Will and Beiste but the whole possibly bisexuality saga between Kurt/Blaine/Rachel seemed a little tacked on. Hopefully the bisexuality arc with Brittany and Santana is better tackled in the next episode.

Desperate Housewives: Fecking hell, RTE2 - three months since the last episode? Um, I liked this one quite a lot. Bree and Keith have a great banter and it was nice that a returning Orson didn't overall damage that but I'm not sure I like the passive aggressive way in which Lynette is trying to deal with Tom and Renee though. Why not just have it out with them? Susan's kidney problems were also surprisingly effective and while I feel for Juanita, I have to admit that I do have a certain amount of sympathy for Gabby as well. She's not coping with Grace being gone all that well as buying that creepy doll displayed and perhaps Carlos should be a tad more sensitive. Better still was the ruling out of Felicia and Mike as suspects for Paul's shooter and Paul realising who exactly Beth is related to. Is it too much to hope that after a shaky start that Season 7 is finally getting it's shit together?

Secret Diary Of A Call Girl: Note to writers - Belle is not Carrie Bradshaw and this show, while liked will not have the same type of fashionista influence that Sex And The City seemingly has. That aside, I did like the fact Poppy had a realistic reaction to learn about Belle's profession and Steph's too. Unfortunately the subsequent whining and lashing out has been far less entertaining to watch. I get Poppy being furious at her mother but how can she act like a bitch to Belle in one episode and then worship the backside of Charlotte in the next one. As for Ben, he's behaving like a douche I almost wish Belle would go off with fanatical copper Harry. As for the movie stuff, a little metatextual but fun enough though. Only three episodes to go.

The Big C: Another episode of this show and I might like it more. It's definitely good stuff and Cathy's an interesting enough protaganist but I always think it could be a little better. Last week's episode where Cathy was trying to discipline her son as her estranged husband played sport was amusing though. I'll stick with it for a while longer.

Being Human US: Okay, I have to catch up with the seventh episode but the last two that I've watched were actually good if still treading UK show territory. Josh discovered the truth about Ray making him a werewolf, Bishop's plotting a vampire takeover, Danny's been exposed as Sally's killer and despite initial friction, both Josh and Nora are being drawn to each other along with Rebecca continuing her quest to sink her fangs into Aidan. The only differences here were the return of Emily and her being attacked by Marcus and Sally's interactions with a poltergeist. It's not as good as the UK series but it's definitely interesting enough though.

Skins UK: Definitely getting better. I enjoyed both Nick and Alo's episodes and while neither are classics, both of them were extremely entertaining and drew some much needed scope for both characters. Alo's episode however was the strongest because not only did it draw on his own failings (and the death of Bessie the cow), it actually forwarded stuff. Rich and Grace took their relationship to the next level, both Mini and Liv challenged Franky on her sexuality (Matty, do not pit Franky and Liv against one another) and it also had a rather nice scene or two between Mini and Alo. For a girl who's such a bitch, Mini can be surprisingly sensitive and she's becoming my favourite female character of this new set. Can't wait to see what the last two episodes give us but in terms of parents, I hated Nick and Matty's father but I could believe in Alo's parents, even if his mum was a total bitch in parts of his episode.
Skins US: I need to catch up with Michelle's episode tomorrow but I didn't mind both Stanley and Abbud's episode, no matter how similar to their UK equivalent they were. The writing is still patchy in places though and I really could've done without Tony and Tea actually sleeping with each other. Tony is now the weakest link of the kids from this show. No disrespect to James Newman but he's just really miscast for the role but given how badly this is doing in the ratings, I'm thinking a second season will be a no go.

- Ryan Devlin will be reprising his role as Seth in Brothers And Sisters later in the season but has admitted that he isn't certain if the show will be picked up for a sixth year.
- Brian Austin Green has left Desperate Housewives but Bree will be getting another love interest later in the season.
- Elizabeth Hurley has been cast as a bisexual villain for the new Wonder Woman series that's due to air on NBC.
- Shameless US has been renewed for a second season while the UK version will be going on a break for a bit.
- There are rumours that the UK version of Skins will be getting 10 episodes for it's sixth season.
- James Callis is the latest Battlestar Galactica alumni to sign up for Ron Moore's new show, 17th Precinct.

Thriller Superbowl

And here's another TV blog to savour with some of the shows I've been catching up on over the last few days.

Bedlam: Ooh, SkyLiving decide to do a spooky series and while this show will win nothing in terms of originality, it is rather decent. Okay, so maybe there's plenty of gratituous shots of Theo James's character, Jed Harper in states of undress but the spooky goings on of an old asylum called Bedlam and Jed's mission to deal with the ghosts along the way is interesting enough. The rest of the characters are a mixed bag so far, though Will Young is pretty decent as the nerdy Ryan. It's not the best thing I've seen but there's definitely potential there at least.

Being Human US: Okay, I am beginning to fall out of love with this series. It's not like the last two episodes haven't been uneventful (Sally's mulling over Danny/Bridget, Josh meeting both Ray and Nora/the Nina character in this one and Aidan dealing with both Garrity and Rebecca's bloodlust) but it's beginning to take itself a little too seriously for my liking. The reason why the Uk version works so perfectly is because there's a sense of fun attached to it. This show could do with implementing that a lot more, otherwise it's just going to be like any other vampire themed show out there.
Glee: It's been two months since my last fix of the series and the show's come back fighting with two bizarre but brilliant episodes in it's own right. The superbowl episode definitely saw Sue going too far with the cannon antics but I did like the temporary truce with the Glee and Titans for the Thriller bit and points for attempting to humanise Karofsky, though it's going to take more than this for me to sympathise with him. The Valentine's episode was a lot better though, especially with Santana in full bitch mode (exposing Finn/Quinn sneaking around by giving the former mono was an extreme move) and heck, even Blaine was made somewhat more believable as well but less of the Dalton numbers because they're not overly adding to the series at the moment. Oh and more of the Rachel/Mercedes/Kurt sleepovers and Puck's pursuit of Lauren.

Skins US: Another set of mixed episodes here, I'm afraid. On one hand, there was Chris's episode, which was completely the same as the UK version but surprisingly, nearly as effective. The actor playing Chris in this one is the only male actor on this version that can actually act and I'm liking the friendship between Chris and Daisy as well. Unfortunately the Cadie episode was a hot mess that bored me senseless and the less said about Tony's fixation on Tea, the bloody better. Here's hoping Stanley's episode is a cracker this week.

Secret Diary Of A Call Girl: Not a bad second episode, actually a lot of fun. Amusing to see that Belle's client this week was one that needed his homosexuality confirmed but what was more interesting was the introduction of Ben's mother. I was expecting her to be a harridan, so the more liberated version we got here was a nice surprise. I'm not sure if Belle and Ben will actually last but the pool scene at the end is certainly making me hope so.

Shameless US: In Ireland, the second and third episodes have aired and I can safely say that this show is not improving. The storylines aren't flowing as well as they did in the UK version, like Frank in this one being sent to Canada wasn't as funny as his UK version being shipped to France and Steve is just boring in this one too. William H. Macy is a great actor but he's just miscast as Frank and the last two episodes almost seemed to emphasise that point even further. Here's hoping that this show does improve soon though, because there are some signs of it becoming good.
- Michael Rosebaum will be returning for the series finale of Smallville. Great news, right?
- Stockard Channing has joined NBC magical based series, 17th Precinct from Ron Moore.
- Wentworth Miller has joined the cast of ABC drama, Identity which sees a police unit dealing with identity theft. Didn't ITV do that last year?
- Hilarie Burton is becoming a regular for the third series of White Collar.
- A previously known gay character on a US show may become bisexual. The shows that are possibly it are True Blood, Glee and Southland but which is it?
- The second half of Desperate Housewives seventh season will continue on RTE2 from March 1st. I assume Channel 4 will air it around then as well.

Music To Go Deaf By

Okay, there will be two TV jumble blogs this week. The second will be up on Friday/Saturday.

Skins: I am really liking the fifth series a lot right now and this was another great episode. Even though I am not a heavy metal at all, I did enjoy Rich throughout this one and it was nice that him going deaf gave him more of an appreciation for Grace and her ballet. I wasn't surprised that they didn't hook up just yet, seeing as we've got six more episodes to go but I can wait. It's also nice to see a continued friendship between Grace, Franky, Alo and Rich, even though it's clearly rubbing Mini up the wrong way though. Still the series does need to develop Nick, Liv and Matty though.
Primeval: After a pretty disappointing fourth season, this episode sure as hell was something of a wimper. After Jenny's lacklustre return in the previous episode, I was hoping that Danny's would be a better effort but it wasn't. It also didn't help that him, Ethan/Patrick and Emily all decided to go into anomalies as well towards the end of the episode. The reveals of Matt being from the future and Philip being a baddie should've made more of an impact but who didn't see them coming? Here's hoping the fifth series is a lot better than this.

Secret Diary Of A Call Girl: Um, interesting first episode, liked the antics with the lawyer. This show is coming to an end and it's still managing to be both racy and ludicrous in equal measure. Of course, Stephanie would be in the cushiest prison going and of course Belle would be roped into being a guardian to Poppy and a madam in one fell swoop. Not that I'm complaining but it just wasn't much of a shocker is all. On the plus side, it does seem that progress between Belle and Ben is also being made. So, she'll choose him over her profession by the finale, yes?

Shameless: I've been watching the 8th season on and off and while the show has had better days, it still shows how bloody inferior the US version is nonetheless (just watched the second episode of that). Monica's return wasn't the greatest of things but if it helps keep Frank with Libby, then I guess it served a good purpose (and I liked the Doctor Who spoof as well). It does seem that the Maguires continue to be more vocal than the remaining Gallaghers though. In recent episodes, we've had Jamie/Karen reunited, Shane/Kelly pulling scams, Mickey humiliating teachers and Mimi battling serious insomnia and nearly endangering baby Cilla. Not too keen on the new neighbours but I do like Lillian's new girl though. Overall, the series isn't as good as it used to be but it's still one of the best things that Channel 4 produces nonetheless.

Marchlands: Not one but two spooky new series on TV (I have to catch up with Bedlam later in the week), I wasn't overly impressed with this one to be honest. It's not a bad series as such and it definitely has an interesting cast but it just didn't jump out to me to be honest. I liked that there was a story that's connecting three generations but the series is lacking something. Maybe the next few episodes will be stronger.

- Debra Messing is apparently being lined up for a musical pilot called Smash about a group of people who decide to stage a broadway show about Marilyn Monroe.

- Smallville's two part finale, will be titled, erm, Finale Parts 1 and 2 and will air on the CW on May 13th.
- Glee will be doing a sex education episode. It's the one that returns Holly and has Santana discuss her bisexuality as well. Oh and Kurt/Blaine aren't happening any time soon, folks.

- Brothers And Sisters 18th episode of Season 5 will feature the death of Ida as well as Justin's 30th birthday.

- Grey's Anatomy's musical episode will revolve all around Callie, who is recent US episodes has been revealed to be pregnant by Mark.

- Rose McGowan will play a violent grifter in an upcoming episode of Law And Order: SVU.

- NBC have reported to have given the greenlight to their own version of Prime Suspect.
- Paul Adelstein will direct an upcoming episode of Private Practice. Both Nicholas Brendan and Alex Kingston will also be appearing in future episodes as well.

Secret Diary Of A Call Girl - Season 4 Promotional Pictures

It's the final season of Secret Diary Of A Call Girl and you can expect it to air Tuesdays at 10pm on ITV2 from February 1st. The spoilers aren't exactly jumping out at the place but it does seem if the promos are anything to go by that both Bambi and Byron are gone. The first pictures shows that Belle's torn between both Ben and a new guy called Harry (played by Paul Nicholls), who's a vice cop. Harry's rumoured to be in a few episodes this season.
The woman in the second picture with Harry, Belle and Ben is called Poppy (Lily James) and again, it does seem that she's a love interest for Ben and a quadrangle is afoot here. Not the most exciting of stories but after four seasons, I'll be genuinely surprised if Belle and Ben don't end up together because it's certainly been leading to that for quite some time now. Poppy is also the daughter of Madam Stephanie, who's spending this season in the slammer, leaving Belle to run her agency.

Secret Diary Of A Call Girl - Season 3 Review

And with a month to go for the last season, here's a look into the series third year and while it's not my fave year, it's still pretty watchable stuff.

Episode 1: Belle the famous author. Love that Belle has bagged herself some fame that doesn't expose her identity but it's even more amusing to see Ben trying and failing to take advantage of it when he's mistaken for the author in question.

Episode 2: Ugh, it's the arrival of Jackie and while I often tease my own sisters, I'm certainly glad that I'm not related to this woman. Poor Belle having to deal with her and Ben shagging then. As for Duncan, I don't like the guy but I liked Byron from the off and there's good banter with him and Bambi.

Episode 3: It's well and good for Duncan to critique and her writing techniques but you can't help but wish that he'd pack it in and let her get on with it. At least the subplots with Bambi and Byron are fun to watch.

Episode 4: It's the food fetish episode and it's one that's incredibly weird for this show and one that's also quite compulsive viewing to watch in a strange way. On the plus side, Byron manages to win over Bambi and Ben/Jackie break up. Thank feck for that.

Episode 5: Not a bad episode but given I don't like Duncan all that much, I actually felt nothing when he was rabbiting on about how much he loved Belle, even if Bambi/Byron's engagement encouraged to give it a go.

Episode 6: Belle and Ben break off their friendship? Yikes. Not even a James Bond fantasy client can dampen the disappointment of that one.

Episode 7: I should've guessed that Duncan would've ended up visiting Bambi, the gee-bag. On the plus side, I did like seeing Belle getting the experience of being a client in order to write a chapter for her book.

Episode 8: Decent finale, more watchable for Belle finally ditching the dull Duncan and Bambi/Byron tying the knot. Oh and Belle and Ben made up as friends. Another plus to this season ender.

Probably my least favourite of the three series so far but it had it's moments and it was nice to have some new blood in the series, even if Duncan's exit couldn't have come a moment too soon.

Rating: 7 out of 10.

Secret Diary Of A Call Girl - Season 2 Review

And here I am onto the second season of the hit series and arguably my favourite one of the three that have aired so far, so without further ado, here are my thoughts ....

Episode 1: Brilliant opening episode. First off all, there's the double delight of junior call girl Bambi and then Callum Blue's rather delectable doctor, Alex and there's also Belle being the only call girl in Britain desperate to not reveal her story about sexing a political to a tabloid journalist. Add in some scenes where she's godparent to her sister's baby and this is one entertaining episode.

Episode 2: Belle goes on a date with Alex, which is brief and sweet while Bambi continued to make an impression on Belle. I can see how and where Bambi exasperates Belle but overall, it's just nice to see Belle have a female friend and Belle did have the girl's back in a way Stephanie certainly wouldn't.

Episode 3: Being confronted by the wife of a client - I'm actually surprised they didn't do this in the first season but it was interesting to see Belle and wifey square off without things escalating into a physical scrap as well.

Episode 4: I really do like Ben as a character and while he's underused in the first three episodes, I didn't like him being a dick to Alex in this one, even if he raised some good pointers. Also the threeway with Belle, Bambi and that club owner was interesting and uncomfortable to watch.

Episode 5: Probably the best episode from the series full stop. Alex found out in the worst way possible that Belle was a prostitute and it was hard not to feel for both characters. Plus, this episode used music from Counting Crows, so more points there.

Episode 6: The one where Belle nearly got raped by a fetish-ish client and Bambi came to her rescue. Though sleeping with Ben at the end of the episode wasn't her smartest of ideas, was it?

Episode 7: Decent episode but Belle and Alex get back together a little too quickly and given her clear contempt for ordinary work, there's a part of me feeling like I'm being manipulating into wanting Belle to resume her prostitute gig.

Episode 8: Terrific finale. The Belle/Alex break up is handled really nice, having her become a famous author at the end would've been a terrific way of ending the show full stop but for now, it just opens up new opportunities for the character.

Definitely an improvement on the first year with some great characterisation, interesting new players and too many enjoyable episodes.

Secret Diary Of A Call Girl - Season 1 Review

I said a while back ago that I would do a review for each season of this hit ITV2 series starring Billie Piper and I wasn't lying. When I first heard about this show, I was intrigued and I certainly knew it would be something I'd want to watch but regardless of the subject matter, it's a damn well enjoyable series. So, here are some thoughts on each episode ....

Episode 1: The opening episode and a rather modest one at that too. It's established within minutes that Hannah is moonlighting as a prostitute named Belle and that she very much enjoys her line of work, even if she's not so keen to tell her family and friends about said work. Her relationship with Ben is arguably the most prominent point of the first episode and the variety of clients - one who wants experiment with farmyard fantasies and the other who wants the girlfriend experience certainly keeps the series afloat.

Episode 2: Tricky second episode but it kind of shows that while Belle might all for fulfilling fantasies, she's also a slave to wanting some fulfilled as well. The banter she has with the author she's pursuing in this one is a lot of fun and it's first episode to also introduce the sex party scene as well.

Episode 3: Not my favourite episode but an amusing one as Belle certainly has affection for certain clients - particularly, Ash, who was her first one and the one that seems to treat her the best. Doesn't stop her from bagging another client in the same hotel room while he's fast asleep though.

Episode 4: Otherwise known as the one where Belle takes on the reluctant role as madam for a very eager client. Belle might be equipped in a lot of areas but clearly this episode to prove that in spite of her confidence, there are things that even test her comfort zone to a certain degree. The Ben plot isn't as good because the character of Vanessa is someone that we never get to meet, so why should we care?

Episode 5: I loved this one. Okay, so Belle ended up losing her fave client to Naomi but up until then, it was nice to see Belle actually have some matey banter with another female character and I bet certain male viewers weren't opposed to see her and Naomi engage in some tonsil hockey in preparation for their night with Ash.

Episode 6: Two words: Matt Smith. Other stuff happened in this episode as well but seeing Doctor Eleven getting down and dirty with Belle was definitely talked about last year and it gave the Doctor/Rose shippers something to cling to. On the plus side, it was interesting to see Belle to take a day off work even if she couldn't quite hack it.

Episode 7: Possibly my fave episode from the first season. While it might not have been advisable for Ben to offer his service to Belle in order to satisfy a married couple, it was definitely to see the two of them connecting a little better in this one though.

Episode 8: Belle as a courtesan? Well, she did come close in this episode but apparently being literally a paid mistress to a man who barely acknowledges you isn't as tempting as it sounds. Still, the set back did give Belle some needed incentive to branch out on her own and get away from boss lady Stephanie for a bit. Nice finale, but a big finale.

As a first series went, Secret Diary Of A Call Girl certainly had moments to make you blush but in terms of sexual content, it's nowhere near as salacious as you would expect. It also helps that Belle's an engaging and sympathetic main character as well. Definitely recommended.

For Shows I Don't Review On An Episode Basis

It's been nearly three weeks since I've actually blogged on TV Tome and I think I'm beginning to lose the will to want to as well, so maybe every once a fortnight (or a week), I'll use this blog to talk about shows I either don't or no longer review episode wise.

Glee has become the must see TV show so far this year. You can't move for the amount of hype it's generated and it seems to be on five days a week (Wednesdays/Fridays on TV3/3E or Monday/Thursdays/Sundays on E4/C4). Following episodes have had some fun moments, especially the absolutely hysterical version of Push It (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNdght8qDQg). Sue's turning out to be one of the most quotable characters on television and Terri is nuts.

Heroes has had the misfortune to be shunted into a Saturday BBc2 timeslot and while the show's best days are definitely behind them, this season's been a little bit of an improvement on previous years. Danko's gone for one thing, Hiro's storyline isn't boring me to tears, Claire's kind of fun and the carny folk are interesting. The back and forth with Sylar and Matt is grating a little. Given that we know Nathan is pernamently dead, it might be nice to get that out of the way already.

I stopped reviewing Desperate Housewives this year, mainly because I didn't have the time and like another show, I had fallen out of love reviewing it weekly. Season 6 has been a lot better than previous seasons, I don't deny that but while crazy Katherine is amusing in it's own right, I hate that Susan still acts like a teenager, that Bree doesn't woman up and toss Orson out, that we're lumbered with Lynette being pregnant yet. On the plus side, Gabby vs. Ana is less predictable than expected and the Bolens are a step up from Dave.

Secret Diary Of A Call Girl - Up until the point of Brooke Magnati revealing herself as the real Belle du Jour, Billie Piper did mention that some people saw her as the face of prostitution. Bit of an overexaggeration there but Thursday's double bill was a decent romp (pun intended) but if Belle is so determined to keep her profession a secret, why would she take her sister to a sex club? I'm also not really sure what to make of Duncan either. He could be a nice guy but he comes across as a little sleazy.

I love Skins and I was looking forward to the opening episode but I have to admit that I found this deeply underwhelming. Yes, it was hight time we needed a look into Thomas's background and a look into the way he viewed UK attitudes and the like but this didn't grab me as much as it could've. The acting was fine and the dead girl in the beginning did set up a tense mood and I'll be happy if someone punched Cook in every episode but they should've opened with a lighter episode. And I didn't see Naomi being the one responsible for selling Sophia the drugs, though I probably should've.

I had given up on Nip/Tuck and to be fair, Season 6 hasn't exactly been the starting of a satisfying wrap to the series. Christian and Liz divorced with as much bad feeling as the writers could muster, Matt used mime to rob stores (and got shot, pity the store clerk didn't aim for his stupid head. Teddy's sociopathic tendencies have been slightly better but even her arc is now coming to an end, following her failed attempt of bumping Sean off. I hope the remainder of this season is better.

- Ugly Betty's been cancelled after four seasons. Too bad because it was improving in my opinion.
- Julie Benz and John Barrowman are appearing in Desperate Housewives this season. The former is playing a stripper and the latter a villain, connected to the Bolens.
- Bill Nighy will be guest starring in Doctor Who. He'll appear in the Van Gogh episode as an enthusiast of the famous painter.
- A love interest is being cast for Mercedes for the second season of Glee.
- Matthew Graham has promised a "beautiful" ending for the final seaon of Ashes To Ashes.
- Lost Season 6 will air Fridays at 9pm on Sky1, starting February 5th.
- True Blood Season 2 airs on FXUK from February 26th at 10pm with Season 3 set to start on HBO in June.

Belle Is Back

I'm not gonna lie - I'm a fan of Secret Diary Of A Call Girl. No, I don't advocate prostitution and yes, it can be argued that this show tends to gloss over the subject matter in question but I know good TV when I see it and this is definitely good TV.

I'm not sure who the new guy is apart from the fact that he's supposed be a love interest for Bambi but it does seem that all the regular gang are back tonight. The first two episodes aired on Showtime on Monday and get their premiere on ITV2 tonight.

It seems that Belle is trying out an attempt to be ginger. I reckon she's seen early pics of Karen Gillan for inspiration. Joke. It's a temporary look but it seems that in the first two episodes, Belle's got an agent, is looking for material for her second book, embarks on making farmyard noises and sploshing with some new clients. One of them being played by Torchwood actor Tom Price.

On Monday, Billie Piper sat down and interviewed Brooke Magnati for ITV. The interview is repeated after the first two episodes air on ITV2 for those who missed it. Season 3 begins tonight with a double bill at 10pm, followed by Billie and Brooke's interview at 11pm on the same channel.
