First of all, with Gotham, it seems we've got our main baddie with Jada Pinkett Smith. The actress, best known for her role in Scream 2 will be playing hotheaded and sadistic gangster boss and nightclub owner, Fish Mooney while Drew Powell (Malcolm In The Middle) will play her second in command, Butch Gilzean. I have to admit while I'm not the biggest fan of Smith, I really have to admit that her character sounds intriguing as an antagonist and I'm certainly interested in seeing how her character also influences Robin Lord's Oswald Cobblepot into becoming the Penguin as he's also on her payroll as well. Also in some recent casting news, it seems that David Mazouz will play the role of orphaned Bruce Wayne while Camren Bicondova will take on the role of teenage street thief and pickpocket Selina Kyle.
Elsewhere with Batman Vs. Superman, it seems that not only will filming begin soon but director Zach Snyder has revealed some tiny details as to what we can expect in the movie as well. It seems that the movie will take in both Batman and Superman's universes and will "explode them", which really could either way. The director praised Lex Luthor actor, Jesse Eisenberg as well, citing him as the "real deal". As you can tell, it's going to be a bit longer before Snyder reveals anything substantial on the matter. I intend to watch this movie but at the moment, is it me or is Gotham seeming more like the more exciting of the two?
