Season 2 of everyone's favourite musical/comedy mash up is starting, so undoubtedly, Fox are itching to promote the heck out of it with these cast shots.
The first one is rather generic and similar to the main one for the first season but the second one is better with the popular pairings - Will/Sue, Kurt/Mercedes, Artie/Tina, Puck/Quinn, Brittany/Santana and Rachel/Finn.Season 2 starts on FOX from September 21st and should also air on TV3 around the same time for Irish viewers. UK transmission has yet to be confirmed.

I think the first one if from last season, but the slushy one (for which there is also a group shot) is deffo season 2. Rachel's hair is different.
The first one has Brittany and Santana in it, so it seems to be Season 2 but yeah, I definitely noticed Rachel's new look in the second one. Hope this season is a great one.
Puck also still has the mohawk in pic one, besides I saw it in the spring.
I think the first pic, is just updated for season 2- Britanny and Santana have probably just been photoshopped in (a classic and lazy strategy). The second set are a lot better
The more I look at the first one, the more you're both right - definitely a photshopped Season 1 pic with Brittany and Santana.
