And so does the overall promotion for the show as BBC1's new Saturday fantasy family drama, Atlantis has already set up official Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr accounts with a series of intriguing riddles to solve where fans get either black or white stones as well as other interesting treats and sneak bits for the show.
Also a cast picture has been released and it features Pythagoras (Robert Emms), Jason (Jack Donnelly) and Hercules (Mark Addy). A recent press release has also revealed that Juliet Stevenson will be playing the Oracle, Sarah Parish will be Pasiphae, Jemima Rooper will be Medusa, prior to her snake hair transformation and Aiysha Hart as Ariadne. The show sees young Jason washing up on the shores of an ancient land
where his allies include an overweight, overbearing Hercules and like it's predecessor, Merlin, expect this show to play fast and loose with the mythology and you can expect a lot of humour as well if the tweets from the BBCAmerica press tour are anything to go by. Now all we need a trailer and an official airdate and we're good.
